Allianz reshuffles senior executive teams

James Dilworth, the head of Allianz Global Investors for Germany, will replace Elizabeth Corley as chief executive officer for Europe in January as she takes on the role of global chief executive.

Dilworth will retain the responsibility for sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In addition, he will join the global executive committee.

Thomas Wiesemann, currently the chief market officer for Europe, will become head of the new global solutions unit and also join the global executive committee.

Besides Corley, Dilworth, Wieseman and Andreas Utermann, the chief investment officer, the global executive committee will include five other members.

These are Wolfgang Pütz, the chief financial officer, Brian Gaffney, who is responsible for North America, Douglas Eu, who is responsible for Asia, George McKay, the chief operating officer, and John Maney, the chief operating officer in the US.
