Aberdeen launches bond Oeic for Oliver Boulind

Aberdeen Asset Management has launched a UK-domiciled open-ended investment company (Oeic) allocating to global investment grade and sub-investment grade debt.

Depending on how the economic environment and market conditions change, the Aberdeen Strategic Bond Fund has the ability to adjust its asset allocation across corporate and government bonds.

“[Our strategic approach] enables the fund to invest in a variety of markets and the flexibility to increase or reduce exposure,” says Oliver Boulind, head of global credit and global high yield.

“For instance, there are times in a market cycle we will want to reduce risk dramatically and in this fund we have those tools.”
